Vendor Account Specialist
ALE is looking to add a team member to our growing Accounting Department. Our Vendor Account Specialist supports our long-term housing operation by carrying out accounting functions as they relate to ALE’s vendors, including vendor set-up, compliance, and maintenance.

This full-time position is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.

Daily Functions of this Position:

  • Ensure vendor compliance by collecting W9 documentation.
  • Follow-up communication with vendors for incorrect W9s, questions regarding W9s and vendor information updates.
  • Implement payment holds for non-compliant vendors.
  • Update and maintain vendor database.
  • Research and apply collection payments received from vendors.
  • Research and execute new vendor change requests.
  • Process year end 1099 forms for vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Knowledge and Skills

  • One to three years of experience in accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills for this position.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
