Landlord Relations Coordinator
ALE’s Long-Term Housing. The Move Out team at ALE works closely with families while in temporary housing. Landlord Relations Coordinators serve as liaisons between policyholders, landlords, vendors, and internal departments. From guiding families through details of their temporary lease to communicating with landlords, our Housing Assistant provides support in a family’s seamless temporary housing process.

The Landlord Relations Coordinator position is a full-time opportunity, requiring Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work schedule. Candidates for this position must have exceptional customer service experience, the ability to work on many tasks simultaneously, and conflict resolution skills.

Daily Functions of this Position:

  • Communicate effectively with landlords and tenants when conflict arises, resolving issues with landlord.
  • Secure lease extensions with landlords under the direction of the Move Out Coordinators.
  • Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with landlords on behalf of tenants.
  • Maintain daily tracking log of file assignments using tasks and detailed notes.
  • Obtaining paperwork necessary from landlords and tenants.
  • Work with landlords and the Accounting Department on rent check inquiries/discrepancies.
  • Maintain open communication with landlord and tenants regularly.

Basic Knowledge and Skills

  • Three years of customer service experience, office/phone experience preferred.
  • Property Management experience is a plus
  • Experience and comfortability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with a database is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to stay organized and multi-task.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
