Folio Specialist - Hotel Resolutions
Our Folio Department ensures that ALE Solutions is only charged reimbursable items. This is achieved through auditing the hotel folios and resolving any discrepancies as necessary. Timely and accurate audits promote high levels of customer service and enhance the cashflow of the company.

The Hotel Resolution Specialist is responsible for resolving folio issues, loss prevention, and to achieve the production/effectiveness goals set by their Team Lead.


The Hotel Resolution Specialist position is a full-time opportunity, requiring an 8am-5pm work schedule. Candidates for this position must have exceptional attention to detail and strong decision making and computer skills. This Hotel Resolution Specialist position includes a day-to-day focus on hotel resolutions, communicating consistently with hotel partners to resolve folio discrepancies.

Daily Functions of this Position:

  • Resolve any discrepancy on the folio by effectively communicating with the hotel, bank or other parties
  • Negotiate any discrepancy on the folio with hotel if cannot be resolved fully
  • Maintain bank dispute deadlines for discrepancy files
  • Resolve any discrepancy found within Sales Analysis by effectively communicating with the hotel, bank or other parties
  • Contribute to/ maintain the internal resources used by the Department, specifically filing through state tax guide
  • Reconcile the folio with our internal database and online bank account
  • Maintain internal databases to ensure all relevant information is noted
  • Process high priority customer requests with expediency
  • Adapt to process changes while maintaining effectiveness and accuracy
  • Work schedule as assigned and give proper notice when changes are needed
  • Work overtime when needed
  • Additional duties as determined by evolving business needs

Basic Knowledge and Skills

  • Preference will be given to candidates with 1 or more years of hotel or folio auditing experience
