Folio Specialist
Our Folio Department ensures that ALE Solutions is only charged reimbursable items. This is achieved through auditing the hotel folios and resolving any discrepancies as necessary. Timely and accurate audits promote high levels of customer service and enhance the cashflow of the company.

Folio Specialists audit hotel bills to ensure the Folio Department reaches its objective. With an in depth understanding of all process involved in a claim, they use set guidelines as well as analytical and decision-making skills to determine which charges can be passed to the billing team. They work with hotels, policy holders, and colleagues to ensure discrepancies are resolved.

The Folio Specialist position is a full-time opportunity, requiring an 8am-5pm work schedule. Candidates for this position must have exceptional attention to detail and strong decision making and computer skills.

Daily Functions of this Position:

  • Reconcile hotel folios with our internal database and online bank account
  • Determine which folio discrepancies can be billed vs need resolution while following department procedures
  • Deliver high levels of customer service to policy holders when processing reimbursement checks
  • Assist with or fully complete resolutions to folio discrepancies via fax, email, or telephone
  • Process high priority customer requests with expediency
  • Request folios from the hotel as needed
  • Maintain internal databases to ensure all relevant information is noted
  • Adapt to process changes while maintaining production and accuracy

Basic Knowledge and Skills

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent decision making and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and comfortability with Outlook and Excel
  • Experience working with a database a plus
  • Hotel experience a plus
